Torfaen MP Nick Thomas-Symonds has visited the Jubilee Centre in Pontypool and met staff at Working Links and Torfaen Training. The Shadow Employment Minister praised their dedication and commitment.
Working Links was established in 2000 and provides employment, skills and offender rehabilitation services to help individuals and improve communities. Torfaen Training is operated by Torfaen County Borough Council which provides work-based training for people aged 16 and over. The training programmes offered are part-financed by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
Torfaen Training is a leading equal opportunity employer and training provider. Their emphasis is on providing everyone with access to training that it most applicable to their abilities, regardless of their gender, faith or nationality.
